| Black Silkie Hen |
I have had silkies since i started keeping chickens. I fell in love with there fluff. I have had many breeds over the past few years and this is one of my favorite breeds. The hens make the best mothers in my opinion and they feel they need to raise babies constantly. My silkies have such the personality and there look is just something you wouldn't expect to see when you think of a chicken. I give all my silkies fashion names cause they are just the couture of the chicken world. Everyone should have one.
